DHMSCare System Software Q&A: 18 Questions We Get Asked
The 18 questions that come up most often during selection — what the system does, how alerts are sent, who receives them, how the app and the web console divide the work, and how hard it is to get started — answered one by one. The system is the software platform layer of DHMSCare (灵瞳), and together with the DHMSCare hardware (sensors and gateways) it forms a single product.
This page is an English edition of a Q&A article published in Chinese on 11 September 2026 by our WeChat Official Account 设备智能运维 PdM (PdM Insight), under the title 《硬件贴上去,数据跑起来,故障提前知道——灵瞳智能系统软件 Q&A》. The answers follow the original wording and have not been substantively rewritten. Chinese original: mp.weixin.qq.com · 中文版 →
1. Product positioning and value
What does the DHMSCare system mainly do?
The system provides intelligent care for equipment and safeguards equipment health. It is an AI-driven equipment reliability management system built on our own terminal hardware, dedicated to delivering full-lifecycle intelligent O&M services using advanced AI technology.
What is the value of the DHMSCare system?
Higher production efficiency for the enterprise, lower operating cost, improved production safety, and stronger intelligent capability.
How does it help and improve equipment management work?
It monitors equipment condition around the clock with no blind spots. When equipment behaves abnormally it flags the emerging equipment problem and helps users take action in time, avoiding sudden failures.
2. Core functions
What are the main functions of the DHMSCare system?
It contains six core functional modules: condition awareness, pattern learning, condition monitoring, anomaly alerting, fault prediction and maintenance recommendations. From basic awareness of equipment condition through to predictive maintenance advice, they form a complete management loop that improves equipment efficiency and stability.
What does condition monitoring actually monitor?
Mainly through installed smart sensors, the system collects equipment condition data in real time, such as vibration and temperature. It monitors equipment operation 24 hours a day, so users can check operating status at any time and avoid problems such as unplanned downtime caused by delayed information.
How does the system raise an anomaly warning?
The DHMSCare AI analysis engine analyses the real-time data, quickly identifies potential anomalies and issues a warning when an anomaly is detected. This warning mechanism not only flags an emerging equipment problem, it also helps users take action in time and avoid sudden failures.
Can I view the real-time data collected by sensors in the system?
Yes. You can view the real-time data collected by the sensors as needed, and historical trend charts are also supported.
Can I view equipment status in the system?
Yes. Based on the monitored alert condition of each item of equipment, the system marks whether equipment is in an alert state, and you can view the status of each item through the condition monitoring function.
Can I view sensor status in the system?
Yes. The status and the count of both sensors and gateways can be viewed.
3. Alerts and notifications
Can the DHMSCare system send alert messages?
Yes. The system lets you set thresholds for parameters, and an alert message is sent when a threshold is exceeded.
What notification channels are available for alert messages?
Alert messages can be delivered through the web in-app inbox, the app inbox and SMS.
Can alert messages be sent to designated people, and to different people by alert level?
Alert messages can be sent to designated personnel. The system supports configuring message recipients according to different equipment and different alert levels.
Will there be a notification if a gateway or sensor goes offline?
Yes. Both gateway and sensor offline events generate notifications, and the system tells the user how to troubleshoot the disconnection so the problem can be resolved as quickly as possible.
4. Accounts and permissions
Does the system support permission control?
The system has a complete account and permission structure, so users can assign different permissions to different users according to their own needs.
Can one account log in on multiple devices at the same time?
Yes.
What is the difference between the app and the web console?
The app is the mobile side, very convenient for instant viewing, on-site operation and inspection feedback. The web console carries the full feature set, such as management, configuration and more complete operation and viewing. We recommend maintaining basic data on the web console; installing and binding field terminal devices can be done more conveniently through the app; and real-time data from field equipment can also be viewed through the app, so users can understand equipment status anytime and anywhere.
5. Getting started
Does DHMSCare have a mobile app?
We currently support app versions for both iOS and Android. Through the phone you can receive alerts, handle alert messages, view equipment status and view equipment parameters.
Is the system complicated to use?
The system was designed from the outset so that even first-time users can get started quickly, with a complete operating manual and video guidance. Users only need to install the gateways and sensors themselves and bind the measuring points; after that they simply follow the alerts and handle them in time.
Still a question we have not answered?
Tell us about your equipment and site conditions. JinBond engineers will propose measuring points and an implementation approach for your specific machines and operating conditions, and put numbers to the business case against your own downtime cost.
